Zip the layer, not another long scarf

This collar concept concentrates the design around the neck. The cobalt ribbed outer section is interrupted by a short graphite zipper at the front, with a curved hem that extends slightly farther at the back. It is intended as a separate accessory for ordinary commuting layers, with no trailing scarf ends to arrange.

↕ An opening you can see

The front zipper runs between the upper rim and lower front edge. Opening it gives access for putting the collar on or taking it off. How easily it moves, and whether it needs a particular guard or facing, must be established on the physical sample. Keep hair and skin clear of the zipper and leave enough room at the neck for comfortable movement.

Under the coat, in your own arrangement

A plain coat allows the blue rib to remain visible without competing patterns. The longer back section can sit beneath the collar of the outer layer if the approved fit allows it. This is not a face mask, hood, respiratory barrier, or medical support. The nose and mouth stay uncovered in the proposed use.

The fit questions to ask

Review finished neck-opening measurements and the front and back heights once available. A target laid-flat width is not a verified circumference range. Do not assume the knit accommodates every neck size or that tightening the zip improves performance. Fiber composition, stretch recovery, and skin-contact finish must be confirmed before making material or comfort claims.

A short accessory still needs ordinary care

Open the zipper as directed on the final care label and avoid leaving the collar damp inside a bag. Do not use the zipper pull as a hanging handle. Keep the rib structure free from sharp objects. The proposed price covers one collar; jackets, hats, bags, and other garments in the scenes are not included.
