🧣 Begin with the shape of the ends

One end is oatmeal. The other finishes in navy. Near the oatmeal end, a bound opening gives the navy section a defined route through the scarf. This concept explores a shorter, threaded arrangement for everyday coats, with the contrast panel becoming part of the front rather than an extra accessory. There are no metal fasteners or electronic components.

How the arrangement is intended to work

Drape the scarf around the neck, locate the opening, and guide the opposite end through it. Adjust the overlap loosely and check that you can move comfortably. The final sample must establish the slot size, edge finish, and how the knit behaves under repeated adjustment. No claim is made that the scarf stays fixed in all movement or provides a particular level of weather protection.

A different kind of front detail

The navy panel is present at only one end. The opening is at the other, so the two features meet when the scarf is worn as intended. A solid-colored coat makes that relationship easy to see.
